sequence concept

The sequence will be based around a character performance that will merge together my narrative concept and  a loose temporal visual experience combined with visual effects.

This concept surrounds styles from inspiring takes on Greek mythology in films like Zach Snyder’s 300 (2006) and Immortals by Tarsem Singh (2011). Both films also use slow motion as a way of focusing in on the power in fight sequences and the general movement of their characters to create a temporal experience, as one of my previous essays was based around the effects of slow motion in film I think the effect will be very useful as a tool of communication towards to audience.

below are some screen shots from 300 at points where slow motion is used to create a visual temporal experience of a fight sequence and the oracles spiritual performance.
